Wrinkle Smoothers & Botox
Our experts at the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of Pennsylvania in the greater Philadelphia area on the Main Line in Devon have extensive experience treating facial wrinkles and crepe-like skin using the most up-to-date techniques available. Some of our tactics include laser resurfacing to stimulate the production of collagen, dermal fillers to restore lost youthful volume, and popular neuromodulators like Botox®, Daxxify®, Dysport®, and Xeomin® for the treatment of wrinkles caused by repeated muscle movement. When it comes to having more youthful-looking skin, non-surgical wrinkle treatments offer many safe and effective options to minimize the signs of aging.
Much like the world-renowned Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York in Manhattan, our 8,000+ sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility offers a broad range of treatments performed by board-certified dermatologists. Our nationally recognized physicians are experts in skin rejuvenation, laser skin resurfacing, chemical peels, injectable fillers, and neuromodulators, so our patients know they’re always receiving the most innovative, cutting-edge treatments on the market.Â
When performed by board-certified and fellowship-trained dermatologist Jordan V. Wang, MD, MBE, MBA, or one of the experienced physicians at Laser & Skin Surgery Center of Pennsylvania, non-surgical treatments can help you achieve a smoother skin texture and more youthful appearance with little-to-no downtime.
COSMETIC botox
Botox is a neuromodulator that dermatologists use to minimize the appearance of dynamic fine lines and wrinkles. Dynamic wrinkles are caused by expression, so they commonly develop in the upper portion of the face. Botox works by temporarily paralyzing the muscle in which it’s injected, which causes the wrinkle above it to relax and soften. In this way, cosmetic Botox can simultaneously treat and prevent wrinkles. The most popular treatment areas for Botox include crow’s feet, forehead lines, between the eyebrows, bunny lines, smoker’s lines, and bands on the neck.

Daxxify
Daxxify is a new FDA-approved neuromodulator created by Revance Therapeutics, Inc., the same creators of RHA® dermal fillers. The injectable treatment is currently used to treat glabellar lines, commonly known as 11’s or frown lines. Daxxify relaxes muscles around the eyes and reduces lines and wrinkles for a smoother and more youthful appearance. It may also be used to treat wrinkles in the upper face, including forehead lines and crow’s feet.

dysport
Dysport is another type of neuromodular that can improve the appearance of wrinkles caused by expression, including crow’s feet and lines between the eyebrows. Backed by extensive research and studied in many different clinical trials, Dysport is one of the most popular and effective wrinkle reduction treatments at Laser & Skin Surgery Center of Pennsylvania.

xeomin
Like Botox, Dysport, and the latest neuromodulator, Jeuveau, Xeomin treats dynamic wrinkles. Dermatologists use wrinkle smoothers like Xeomin to minimize the appearance of forehead lines, frown lines, crow’s feet, and other types of facial creases caused by repeated expression.
The U.S. was the 20th country to approve Xeomin. The treatment was FDA-approved after clinical trials indicated that its safety and efficacy was similar to cosmetic Botox. Much like its predecessors, Xeomin has also been approved as a treatment for certain nerve and muscle disorders.
