Clear + Brilliant Touch

Created by Solta Medical, the Clear + Brilliant Touch is a non-invasive fractional laser that treats and prevents fine lines, wrinkles, textural irregularities, and superficial pigmentation by resurfacing the skin. The device uses 1440nm and 1927nm wavelengths to address the early signs of aging. Not only does the Clear + Brilliant Touch laser enhance the tone and texture of the skin, but it also helps to intercept the progression of unwanted lines and pigmentation.
Jordan V. Wang, MD, MBE, MBA and the board-certified dermatologists at Laser & Skin Surgery Center of Pennsylvania in the greater Philadelphia area on the Main Line in Devon have extensive experience in performing laser treatments. Our skilled physicians can help every patient achieve their aesthetic goals with comfortable treatments and minimal downtime. At your initial consultation, your dermatologist will work directly with you to create a personalized treatment plan that enhances and rejuvenates your skin.
How does the Clear + Brilliant Touch Work?
Clinical work carried out by the world-renowned in-house research center at the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York directly influenced the currently approved treatments of the Clear + Brilliant Touch laser. Our board-certified dermatologists have harnessed the knowledge from these studies to safely and effectively treat patients.
By creating thousands of microscopic treatment zones, the Clear + Brilliant Touch triggers the body’s healing response and rejuvenates the skin’s upper layers. Old, damaged skin eventually gently comes off and is replaced by fresh, clear skin, resulting in a more radiant and youthful complexion.
Treatment with Clear + Brilliant Touch is safe and effective for men and women, as well as all skin types. Individuals who want to maintain their youthful complexion or target fine lines, wrinkles, and sun damage are excellent candidates for this treatment. Most patients see noticeable improvements in their skin after just 2-4 treatments.
What Does the Clear + Brilliant Touch Treat?
Clinical studies show that Clear + Brilliant Touch treatments can result in:
- More even skin tone and texture
- Enhanced complexion and radiance
- Reduction in pore size
- Smoother skin
- Fewer fine lines and wrinkles
- Improved pigmentation (sun spots, brown spots, melasma)
- Lightening of brown scars
- Prejuvenation
When Will I See Results?
Many patients notice their skin feels softer and looks clearer within days of treatment. After each session, your skin should continue to improve in both tone and texture.
What Is the Treatment and Recovery Like?
Clear + Brilliant Touch treatment shouldn’t feel overly uncomfortable. Most patients experience an increased sensation of heat, but our board-certified physicians can apply a topical anesthetic beforehand to minimize your discomfort. The entire treatment takes about 10-30 minutes to ensure a uniform application.
Although you can expect minor redness, swelling, and discomfort immediately after treatment, these side effects typically disappear within a few hours to a day. Most patients require little to no downtime and resume their normal activities right away.

Q: How Many Treatments Will I Need?
A: Our dermatologists provide individualized care for every patient, so the number of treatments vary from person to person. However, most patients see their best results after 2-4 treatments. Once you’ve completed all of your treatments, you can expect your results to last for several months. Our dermatologists recommend maintenance treatments to help preserve your results.
Q: Are There Any Side Effects?
A: Clear + Brilliant Touch is a gentle treatment compared to other laser resurfacing devices, so most side effects are mild. You can expect mild redness and swelling immediately after treatment, but these side effects should generally subside within a few hours. To protect your skin, avoid sun exposure after treatment and wear sunscreen outdoors.

Q: What Is Prejuvenation?
A: Prejuvenation refers to the preventative steps patients take to ward off common signs of aging, such as sun spots, fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and skin laxity.
