Moles, lumps, and bumps are easily treatable thanks to the advanced laser technology and minimally invasive surgical solutions available at Laser & Skin Surgery Center of Pennsylvania.
Moles, Lumps, & Bumps
Skin marks, such as freckles and moles, are common with age. Over time, however, these harmless marks can grow and change due to sun exposure and UV rays. While many remain benign (noncancerous), some do develop into skin cancer or melanoma.
At Laser & Skin Surgery Center of Pennsylvania in the greater Philadelphia area on the Main Line in Devon, Jordan V. Wang, MD, MBE, MBA, and the board-certified dermatologists offer mole screening and removal services to prevent and detect the early signs of skin cancer. Whether you have a suspicious-looking mole or are simply unhappy with its appearance, our experienced physicians can remove it safely and effectively.
Junctional Flat Nevi
A junctional flat nevus is a relatively smooth lesion that typically appears oval in shape. These lesions can be black or brown. Our dermatologists can treat junctional flat nevi with the PicoPlus laser. Most patients need several treatments to see noticeable improvements in their skin.
Venous lakes are enlarged blood vessels that most often form on the lips. One of the most popular treatments Laser & Skin Surgery Center of Pennsylvania offers for venous lakes is the Vbeam Prima laser.
Cysts are fluid-filled growths that can develop nearly anywhere in the body. Some contain more solid substances than others. Most cysts are noncancerous and painless, but all require a comprehensive examination to rule out more serious underlying conditions. At our office, our board-certified dermatologists offer a number of treatments to remove cysts, including laser therapy.
A cherry angioma is a benign collection of blood vessels. These bright red growths may appear flat or raised on the skin. While harmless, cherry angiomas can continue to grow and may bleed if injured. Laser & Skin Surgery Center uses the VBeam Prima laser to effectively remove cherry angiomas without damaging the surrounding skin.
Skin cancer is the most common type of cancer in the United States. At our office, we offer complete skin cancer screenings and removal services for basal cell carcinoma (BCC) and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) lesions.
